14th NATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL
The National Folklore Festival (NFF) is an event with nuances of cultural diversity that is packaged in the format of a traditional choir and dance competition under the auspices of the Department of Arts and Culture of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia.
The National Folklore Festival, which will be held for the fourteenth time, raises the issue of the importance of awareness of tolerance in cultural diversity that can become a harmony into a national culture that has unlimited potential in its development, which is expressed through dance and sound art from the Archipelago.
Our committee of the fourteenth National Folklore Festival wishes that this event would ultimately increase the awareness of its stakeholders to have tolerance that creates unity.
By carrying out the tagline "young people love culture" we want to have a positive influence on young people in loving Indonesian culture, so that later they are expected to participate in maintaining the unity and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia and loving our very rich homeland.
Main Event
Traditional Dance Competition
Traditional dance competition shows beautiful and beautiful movements accompanied by traditional music and gives an elegant nuance of various kinds of traditional Indonesian dances. The traditional dance competition consists of three categories, namely category A (High School), category B (Higher Education), and category C (Studio and General) where each team consists of 3-10 people.
Choir Competition
The choir competition chants inspirational and humming tones for listeners by bringing songs from various regions in Indonesia that illustrate the beauty of Indonesian culture. The choir competition consists of two categories, namely category A (High School) and category B (Higher Education) consisting of 25-30 people each team.
