UNPAK - Friday (28/2), Acting The Head of the Education and Culture Data and Information Technology Center (Kapusdatin) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Gogot Suharwoto, welcomed the staff of the Center for Education and Culture Data and Statistics (PDSPK) and Pusdatin of the Directorate of Higher Education (Dikti).

The joining of PDSPK and Pusdatin Dikti to Kemdikbud Pusdatin which was previously named the Center for Information and Communication Technology Education and Culture (Pustekkom) of the Ministry of Education and Culture adapted to the issuance of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) No. 45 of 2019 concerning Organizational Change and Governance (OTK) at the Ministry of Education and Culture environment.

The joining of these two work units is also expected to support the One Data Indonesia (SDI) program, in which the Ministry of Education and Culture is responsible for data processing in education and culture.

What's more with the joining of these two units, education data from the basic to tertiary levels of education will be interrelated so that the objectives of Merdeka Belajar can be achieved.

Likewise with cultural data, it is expected to be able to build superior quality human resources for the sake of advancing the motherland.

Not only that, the presence of PDSPK and Pusdatin Dikti will further strengthen the position of the Ministry of Education and Culture in implementing ICT Governance in the Ministry of Education and Culture and presenting digital learning media needed in the digital 4.0 revolution.
