Assisting Information to Newcomers, HMGD Unpak Inaugurates Signpost Map Update of Angkot Route

UNPAK - The Geodetic Department Student Association, Faculty of Engineering, University of Pakuan Bogor (HMGD Unpak) inaugurated a map signaling updating of the Bogor City public transportation route based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), at the Baranangsiang Terminal in Bogor on Sunday, (12/22/2019).
The inauguration of the GIG-based public transport route map update was attended by the Chairman of the Baranangsiang Type A Passenger Terminal Team Commander, the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) and its staff, and the Head of Transportation Section of the Bogor City Transportation Department, as well as representatives of HMGD lecturers and students.
According to the Chairman of the HMGD Haekal Sultan Kahfi, this route signpost is one of the work programs that they consistently work on. Starting from 2013-2015 with a focus on mapping maps of the spread of tourism in remote villages.
Like in 2013 in Malasari Village, then it began to enter city mapping in 2016 such as the Taman Sempur Map. And in 2019, this is the first time mapping public transportation routes that began in September.
"The main target is the arrival of Bogor City, the background of this manufacture because Bogor is known as the city of 1000 angkot," said Haikal.
Head of the Transportation Section of the Bogor City Transportation Department, Muhammad Yefies, said that updating the route map was a very good innovation.
"Unfortunately, it is constrained by the existence of the terminal that will be renovated, this map will definitely be revoked, not permanent. Students must continue to coordinate with BPTJ and Dishub.
We will evaluate it again as needed, its character is still flexible and not permanent. "Hopefully this route is useful," he explained.
Harapan Puswanto as the Commander of the Baranangsiang Type A Passenger Terminal Team of BPTJ, with the existence of this route map, the public understands its uses and functions better.
"With this sign slightly added information for visitors to the city of Bogor and outside the city of Bogor," he concluded. "Hopefully we can do a work program with innovation of new ideas," added Rizki Ramdani, Chairperson of the inauguration of updating the GIG-based public transport route map. (zhofira / amelia)
